Music in the Midtown

Are Music Festivals Worth the Money?

Since the first music festival, Woodstock 1969,  festivals have been the place where thousands of teens gather to celebrate music. Over the years, festivals have become much more popular, gathering in some of the largest names in the world into one place. I have been to two music festivals, and one of the most common questions I get are "Is it worth all of the money". This is a very loaded question, because it depends on the kind of festival goer you are, but if you're like me, it's worth every dime. The difference between these festivals and concerts are that if you go to a concert you pay for a specific seat, but at a big gathering like Bonnaroo, you can get any seat you wait for. For instance, at Bonnaroo I waited for three hours to see Future front row (while in the meantime watching Dua Lipa) and ending up being second row. Normally second row tickets cost about 600 dollars, as much as whole ticket and parking cost. I also saw almost 14 other shows including 4 front row.
